Fields of work:

  • Antonius Schröder has been working at Sozialforschungsstelle Technische Universität Dortmund (sfs) since 1994 in different executive positions. Since 2002 he is member of the board of sfs responsible for European and International Research and Infrastructure. From 1994 to 2009 he coordinated and built up three new research areas.
  • Beneath his management activities he is engaged in several European projects dealing with social innovation, combining technological and social innovation, lifelong learning, vocational education and training, evaluation, organisational and personnel development, industrial change, industrial relations and social dialogue.
  • Main fields of scientific activities are social innovation, lifelong learning / vocational education and training and evaluation.
  • Social innovation: Combining technological and social innovation, social innovation processes, workplace innovation (esp. green skills) and regional development, social dialogue
  • Lifelong learning, vocational education and training: digitalisation and new demands for qualification (Industry 4.0 and Work 4.0), development of new education and training system structures, monitoring of vocational education and training, development of training modules, development and implementation of regional centres of lifelong learning, lifelong learning and regional development
  • Evaluation: program, law, project evaluation and monitoring; company, customer and employees surveys, conflict workshop moderations, participative personnel and organisational development.
